Thomas
R. Beirne is a partner of the Firm. He
has thirty years of experience in New York State and Federal courts. He also has
extensive experience in administrative proceedings and alternate dispute
resolution, particularly arbitration. Mr. Beirne specializes in real estate
related litigation, including real property tax assessment review ("tax
certiorari"), condemnation, mortgage and tax foreclosure, municipal
approvals and individual property rights Prior
to joining Cuddy & Feder, Mr. Beirne was a trial attorney and,
ultimately, Branch Chief, Branch of Enforcement, with the New York Regional
Office of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. He is
currently Town Attorney for the Town of Ossining, New York and Chairman of
the Committee on Constitutional Law and Individual Rights of the Westchester
County Bar Association. Mr.
Beirne is admitted to practice in the courts of the state of New York and in
the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York,
as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is a member
of the American Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the
New York State, Westchester County and White Plains Bar Associations and the
Federal Bar Council. Mr.
